vacuum canister install
quick question: after i installed this new cam, my brake pedal goes to the floor due to lack of vacuum. What is the procedure for installing a larger vacuum canister? is it a direct replacement for the stock one and the stock lines should work? any help is appreciated.

what size cam is it? and have you retuned it for the cam? set the idle at 900rpm if its a big cam and you should be fine.
i had a 240/244/112lsa .6lift in a stock ls1 and never had problems with vacuum

dont do anything yet till its tuned what is the CI of the motor? like said above the brake pedal shouldnt go stright to the ground did you bleed the brakes at all? you might have air in the line.
but again just wait and see after you get the tune.
