Need offroad Jeep LQ4 tuned in Sacramento
In need of someone who can tune my LQ4 that's currently sitting in a offroad-only Jeep. I need a tune(and someone to inspect the engine) for low-end torque/power improvement. guessing a speed shop won't be able to get the right tune.
I also have a lot of sensors removed(no smog, trans swap, etc). The ECM was originally sent out and programmed by "Fast Chip" to turn off those checks and it runs but it just doesn't run well. sporatic idle(will not idle when cold), very little power, and it smells almost like it's dumping gas out the tailpipe(aka running very rich). Once I get warmed up and up to speed, it does well, just can't handle accelleration from a stop.
So, anyone in Sacramento area who knows these engines, knows engine tune requirements for my hobby, and can figure out what's going on would be great.
