Default How high do you spin your 408 to and any problems?

I am wrestling with gear ratio decision and its between 3.54 and 3.73 . Dana 60 is the rearend that will be getting.
I want to know is it ok to spin my 408 to 7000 rpm.I am not sure where would be shifting at not sure where my gt7 with 1.8 yella terras will want to be shifted at. But is 7000 doable on a 408? Who is doing it and any problems like spun bearings, etc. Its fully forged engine and running those afr 225s. Cam is conventional not solid roller.Ls7 lifters.

How much time does a guy really lose if he has to shift to fifth ? Course might be going to 4l80e next season anyway.

So again what are you spinning your 408 too and a bit of info on the parts in it would also be appreciated.

It should be perfectly fine to go to 7000 if all the assembly was done correctly.
