Default need help please

local junk yard has a rear end for my 94 t.a because i ripped mine out and the only problem is that it has drum brakes. I thought 93 to 97 f-bodies only had disk brakes. Can someone verify.

That would be the rear-end out of a V6 car. It is an open diff, with a 2.73 gear I belive. Make sure to get one with a 3.42 if you can.

They pulled the cover off the rear end and counted the teeth. there are 3.23's but when I spin the hub onl;y one side turns. Which leads me to believe it's not positive traction.

It's a non-posi rear end. I'd skip that one, cause drums blow, and you don't want to put in another differential.

Yes they will work, but you may not like them. What is your car, auto or manual? If it is a auto it either came with 2.73, or 3.23 gears. If it is a manual it came with 3.42. And, the only thing that I would do with that rear end is take the gears out of it, if that is what failed in your rear end. Everything else on that rear would be completly retarted to put on your car.
