Default G-body turbo 5.3L

Was just curious before I get started on this winter project how much boost can be run in a bone stock 5.3 before having to us race gas? Also what would be the best boost for somewhat of conservative? Also would anyone have any tuning suggestions for this type of swap.

P.S. If anybody has any info I will ned to know or even just pointer before I go ahead with this project then fill free to let me know.

I went over to the Forced Induction section and read that someone over there is using 15psi and a 50 shot of NO2 and he wants to push it more. Been running it like that for 2 yrs. So boost away.

the fairmount is running race gas on the dyno produce 650hp with a ls6 cam. the cam gave them an extra 100 hp out of that car.worth while and cheap mod if your going to run boost. parish8 helped build that car and donated some of his parts for it too.
