Default LS1 1st gen Camaro...

I was told to look into an LS1 1st Gen. Considering with one I won't have to worry about 10mpg. However I'm sure there are many other things to consider when doing the swap or buying a swapped 1st gen. I swear there are a couple guys on here who have had them or built them. Any information would be great.

I am finishing a 68 SSrs that now has a Scoggin Dickey (new) LS6 w/ cam upgrade, T56 w/ Viper internals, Fab 9 rear end , Full TCI suspension, coil overs, 4 link, Wilwood brakes, rack and pinion , air conditioning( Vintage air) and two fat daddy 06 Pontiac GTO seats that feel like lazy boys. I never had a freakin clue how much jack this project would cost. You dont get nickel and dimed to death. you get 3 and 400 dollared to death. Thats no lie. Basically, its a Zo6 vette that looks like a 1968 SS rs Camaro. Zeus Performance in Charlotte NC can give you an idea of how much something like what you are after will cost.
