WS6 vs. 2005 CBR600RR and S.R.T.4
(Notes at the bottom - all runs on spray)
The WS6 and bike are both mine. I wanted to see how they run against each other, so I had my cousin race me on the bike. The bike is stock. #s for car in sig (full exhaust, cam, nitrous, other little stuff).
First run we left on a 40 roll, both of us in second. I pulled a couple feet off the hit because 40 in second on a bike isn't really in the powerband. By 100 or so he had 2 bike lengths on me and by 110 I had pulled back a couple feet but we shut down due to traffic. Bottle pressure was around 900 or so.
We pulled over to talk and a STi and SRT.4 caught a light next to where we were parked. We asked if they wanted to run. They came back about ten minutes later. I talked to the guy in the SRT.4 a bit, told him what I had. He had some sort of gauge on the A-pillar and drag radials on the front. He had some kind of aftermarket exhaust as well. We agreed to a 45 hit.. he honked it off. I yanked him from the start and was pulling hard. By the time I shut down around 80-90 due to traffic I had 4 or 5 lengths on him. I gave him a thumbs up, he honked, and we went off our separate ways.
Got a second run in with the bike. Pressure was around 950 for this run. 40 roll, me in second, him in first. By 80ish he had a bike and a half on me. Around 110 or so I started pulling back and by 125 we were even when I had to shut it down, again due to traffic. If we went to 140 or so I'm sure I'd have a full car length on him.
Overall I'm really satisfied with the performance of the car. My friends thought I was bullshitting when I told them I'd hang with the bike no problem.
Run 1 - vs. bike - 40 roll to about 110, lost by 1.5 bike lengths
Run 2 - vs. SRT.4 - 45 roll to about 85, won by 4-5 lengths
Run 3 - vs. bike - 40 roll to about 125, tie

I owned a CBR and loved it.. Honda makes nice crotch rockets....
Still if you can keep up with a new 600 pocket rocket your car is something special..
I tried racing a 1000cbr last year and worked over big time...Wasn't even funny...

I've never been on a 1000, or seen one take off, but I'm sure it'd end up as a waste of gas for me. I still have a little ways to go with the power mods (intake/TB, 125 shot instead of 100), but it won't be enough to hang with a properly driven 1000.

I've never seen a street legal car to date that can over take a new 1000cc crotch rocket.. I have seen alot of fast cars too in my life time..... The fastest car I can remember seeing was a modified AMG S65 with big boost sporting 750whp.....This AMG was soooo fast it was scary, needless to say the owner poored a small fortune into the Merc... howerer, I still am not conviced it could have over taken a 1000CBR with a good driver..
Those bikes do 0-100mph in about 2 or 3 seconds...
