Default ? blown head gasket

I'm having some white smoke coming from my engine and from exhaust, I thought it might have been a blown head gasket but when I drained the oil it looked clean, when I pulled the intake off there was alot of oil build up in the exhast chambers of the heads, could this be a bad valveseat or seal? also has anybody done a rebuild on a vortec sq9 supercharger? this may be the source of an oil leak I was having, there was alot of oil in the impellar side of the supercharger through the mass air and into the aftercooler. I thought this was the cause of the white smoke but I put the car back to stock and it continued to smoke. any ideas????

How does the engine run ?

If oil's everywhere, its probably stinking blue smoke ( as opposed to odourless or antifreeze smelling white ) and melted pistons.

You can have instances where you can have a blown head gasket and not have it actually get into the oil. I'd pull the heads off and see what is going on. Bob

The enging was misfiring and there seemed to be a rich smell to the smoke, also when I pull the heads will I also be able to see if there is any damage to the pistons or rings?
