Question steering questin....

not much here on this thread all is from bout 8 months ago but i know there is now.

now by looping the power steering hoses together to make a wanabee manual rack....

with 275's up front or even skinnies up front how does it feel can u even move the steering to park. or will u become he-man in a week.

or is it better off to w8 and just buy the manual rack conversion because the p/s bypass will just never cut it unless you have skinnies.

i would like to know just as much as everyone else here this topic was never completed in the steering threads.

from 235 to 255 there was a considerable difference but it wasnt that bad. idk what its like with 275's but i wouldnt wanna be the one to have to do a maneuver in a parking lot with that set up lol

my friend has an '01 SS that had 285/40/17s up front and when i drove it,to me it was similar to a manual rack w/245s very stiff! i would think with skinnies it would be much easier but not near as easy as it would be with the manual rack....

When at a stop it is pretty hard to steer 275s without power steering on a stock rack, not something I would want on anything I drove on the street

Yeah for sure, if you are wanting to use a stock steering rack with the lines looped.
