Default Buying Hp Tuners but have some questions

If I have:
2=98 LS1 f bodies ( 4 credits?)
1=99 LS1 f bodies (2 credits?)
2=00 LS1 f bodies (4 credits?)

How many credits do I need in order to tune all 5 of these cars? I think I have confused myself

Would I need to buy 2 extra credits? for these cars or 10 more for unlimited 98-99-00 cars? Am I reading it right?

Correct, the minimum amount of credits you would need to tune these 5 vehicles would be 10 credits if you do 5 single vcm licenses so you would need to purchase just 2 additional credits over the 8 that come free with your initial purchase.

Check out this short demo on RTT http://www.thetuningdoctor.com/HPTun...stomsized.html which should give you a basic understanding of how easy it is to apply and what it does to make tuning easier.

what was he doing when he was clicking that button over and over again?
also, what do you suggest reading to get a start on understanding how to tune using HP tuners?
AND does RTT come with the PRO?

He was decreasing the timing by adding -1 to the cell at idle I believe (can't see the demo at work). Look at the stickies up top for the tuning guide document. It's also over at LS1sounds.com for download it's all based on HP Tuners. RTT is an additional 2 credits to enhance the operating system on the car to make it RTT capable. I forsee when I do some idle tuning on my car it's going to be a snap with that feature. I'm 100% happy with the product nothing is as clean and well setup as HP Tuners IMO. The PRO version give you the imputs for a WB and other sensors to map with your PID table.

Unless you can drive and tune at the same time you really do not need RTT. It is nice to have and I know people use it all the time. If you want to tune your idle by changing timing or AFR you can use the bi-directional controls that are in the hp tuners scanner. The bi-directional controls in the scanner work nice, just record what changes you made with the controls and than edit your changes in the editor. RTT is only 2 credits though if you want to play around with it.

I'd recommend the pro version if you are tuning multiple vehicles with a wideband o2 unit. The pro version makes it easier to wire your wideband directly to your hp tuners enhanced interface (pro version only) If you are only tuning 1 vehicle buy the standard version and just wire your wideband through your egr, accomplishes the same thing, but saves you $150. None of this made any sense to me about a month ago so if you have any questions let me know, as I just went through this and have a lot of questions.
