External Crank Trigger?
I just had built a 440ci based LS7 w/ a Callies XL 4.125 crank.
To make a long story short, 3 years ago, I had a 447ci motor which self destructed because the computer would loose sense of the reluctor wheel on the callies crank and rpm's would shut off at 5K.
Ever since my motor, I've received several PM's and have heard from several local tuners that they were having the same issue with their Callies 4.125.
I don't want to go through that mess again, so my tuner was suggesting to forgo the reluctor wheel and go with an outside crank sensor/trigger.
Anyone know where I can get one of these units to fit a LS7 based setup & have any experience with one?
TIA!
