Yank py 3400 e or sc 3400?

Yank py 3400 e or sc 3400? Just wondering which is better for my mods and what is the difference between the two. On their site it just says sc 3000 but read Dave childress has sc 3400 with 4l80e the same trans I would be running.
I was all determined to just get the py 3400e but now not sure. The SC don't say it has lockup. Are either also ok for small shots of spray say 100 shot.
I am not asking this question on the auto forum as most of those guys don't run FI like all on this forum do.

I used Yanks website too to pick out a convertor. I spoke with Yank the other day and they suggested a 3600SS for me. I'm going to swap it out over the winter.

I have the Yank SC3000 and I love it so far and I havent even jumped on it yet. I wanted a very tight convertor for the street and thats what I got. I dont go to the track that much.
Im about 99.999% sure Mightymouse & Cablebandit sent thier SC3000 back to Yank to have them "loosen" thier convertor up, for better track results.

Pretty happy with my PY3400. Cutting 1.44, 1.45 60's at 3800 lbs. Street manners are very close to stock.
Remember converters act very differently behind different powerplants, vehicle weight and gearing also has alot to do with the results.
Probably best off talking to the company directly and telling them your combo, it is always best to have the HP/TQ numbers upfront as opposed to speculating to nail it right the first time.
