I am doing a M6 to TH350 swap in my 98 TA soon and wanted to get all my ducks in a row before diving off into this project.

I currently have a Moser 9" with 35 spline spool and 4.56 gears, 28" tires, and usually trip the lights at around 6500 (shift light pops on at 6800).

The question is what gear do I run? I have heard everything from 3.50 (too low imo) to 4.11.

Use a gear/Mph calculator to see what gear you need to trap at 6500rpm at xxx MPH (your Trap speed).

I had 3.89s and have since gone back 3.70s. This is for 99% street car. With my setup, I like the taller gear for a little better hook and longer pull between shifts on the bottle.
