Ok guys i have a comp cam that i origanly bought for my old TPI set up. I have since sold the thirdgen and cant see letting the cam go to waste. Its not really the cam i want but i already have it and was wondering how well itll work in my LT1. The cam is 218/224 duration, .495/.503 lift on a 112 lsa. ill also be running a set of pro mag 1.6RR and the bolt ons in the sig. Any input would be great.

uh it won't work at all unless it has the opti drive pin installed on the end which I don't think it will if its from a 3rd gen car???

The cam you have is the 08-502-08 and the same cam for an LT1 is the 07-502-08. I dont know alot about the pre '93 f-bodies but my guess is the same as above. If its not the one you want I would just try selling it on here or on ebay and pick up the one you do want.

-stealth- its the 07-502-8 cam. its deff a lt1 cam...it has the dowel pin for the opti and everything. what kind of power can I expect with this cam? also what valve springs?

Awesome, looks like your good to go then. I would expect 330-340rwhp ish with that cam and the rest of your setup with a tune of course. The Crane 10308-1 valve spring kit would work perfect.

if it put 340 I would be pretty happy with it. that would be more then enough for mid to low 12s I think. thanks again for the help.
