trans to motor, got advice?

trans to motor, got advice? alright I have my new clutch and all that on the back of the motor. Now what steps should I take to attach the trans to it? This is all out of the car. I asked in the manual trans section about what needs to be greased also, so if anyone reading this can tell me what should be greased thanks.
I think I already figured out the way I'm trying now is wrong, I already attached the bellhousing to the trans, it seems this way though I won't be able to attach the throwout fork to the trans.
So if someone can point me towards a detail write up or just type it out here it will be much appreciated. -Corey
