Default 2001 WS6 burning "rich"

I took it to the shop today. It is not throwing any codes. Not missing, but it smells rich. Anybody have any ideas? I was told if it was an O2 sensor it would have a code. Check engine light is not on.

bad CAT? Is there anyblue smoke coming out when you start up? Could be burning oil. Any more info on car and problem? Miles on car? Does it only happen when accelerating, start up, nomral driving?

no smoke of any kind. I smell it when I stop and leave it running for a minute, like to check the mail or something. The car has 77000 miles on it. BTW no mods.
