Question for people running the Thunder Cam and Stage 2 LS1 heads:
If you're running the cam that I have (114 LSA is ok too) with S2 Heads, at what rpm are you shifting?
I've got the stock rear with stock 3.42's and my tq. peaks at ~4900 with power peaking at ~6100.
I've got my rev-limiter at 6800 but I wanna know if shifting at 6600 or 6700 is too high. My power curve remains pretty flat from 5600 to 6600.
Thanks!

I shifted my TR224 at 6600. It was still pulling hard up to 6600 at the track and the dyno for me, great cam.

Re: Question for people running the Thunder Cam and Stage 2 LS1 heads:
Dragon,
The shift points seem to be an opinion of some, but the way I figure out the shift points for a particular package is that I add 400-500 rpm passed my horsepower peak. You should have the car dyno tunned, then you can read on the numerical graph where your hp/tq peaks are.
Hope that helps.
Joe.
