Default 4.56 Gear Auto

I plan on running a trex or vindicator cam and i figured my trap rpm would be about 7300 this will be a track only setup or would 4.10 be better i think with this setup and a little spray it would run mid to high 10s at about 125

I'd probably be leery of 4.56's in a 7.5" 10 bolt, even in an A4 car. Talk about some tiny teeth!

I'm hoping he was talking about a REAL rear like a 12 bolt or 9"

456 in a small 7.5 is stupid.....I agree,,, as do anyone with a brain ...... 410 is too damn small---I went with 373 and will regret it until I get another rear.

I think at bare min you need to consider a 373 with that converter 456 would be ok if you can hold the traction and plan on having that high of a rev limit.
