water leak?

Default water leak?

its been raining here and my headliner is soaked. i believe it is leaking from the XM or whatever antenna is in the front. anyone know how to fix this?>

Whoops just posted in the other thread.

The antenna is basically one solid unit, it has to be replaced. In my case I outsourced to my local mechanic cause I'm lazy. I have my old antenna. I'll take you a photo when I get home.

Ok thanks. so your saying its not just a gasket or anything. im going to take it apart now if possible im just gonna fill it with some sealer.

Yup, you'll have to drop the head liner to get it. Once you get the headliner down you'll be able to see where you can unscrew the antenna. I just ended up putting a new antenna on. You might also be able to seal it up with a caulking gun and some sealant or epoxy.

just took it all apart. Im just gonna seal the **** out of it with 3M marine 5200 caulking that i use on my boat.
