Default Newish guy: '06 Monte Carlo SS

I've been lurking around here for a while. I just read the daily posts and try to gain as much knowledge as possible. So far the only mods I have are Impala SS headrests and black 18" MOMO Strike wheels. Here are some pictures. Let me know what you think.

I have a ton of things planned for it. Mostly visual (not tacky), but would like to add a K&N intake, Hamburger TBS, Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers, DR STB bars and brackets, better tires (considering Dunlop SP Sport Signatures), and 20% window tint to name a few. I have a wish list that I've been trying to cross things off of, but after time and more pay checks I'll start tackling some things. I live in Highland, IN, which is located in Northwest Indiana, so the weather is just finally starting to get better around these parts. Once it starts warming up I'll hopefully be doing some more things.

I'm also a member of MonteCarloForum with the same screen name. I look forward to reading your comments and continuing to learn more about this platform.

Thanks Panther. That's exactly why I like them so much too. They aren't tuner, they aren't Nascar, and they aren't blingy... Plus the stock tires fit perfectly. They met my criteria! lol

Those rims do look pretty sweet. Black on Black is always a nice way to go!

The rims are really nice! They must look sick while you're driving.

I wish I could tell how they look while moving... lol. I could have some one drive my car I guess and take a video or picture, but that would mean, having some one else behind the wheel of my car and I don't know how much I like that idea! lol

I will be tinting 20% all around some time soon. It's next on the list and then exhaust.

The downside to having someone drive your car so you can see how it looks, is letting someone else drivew you car, lol.

Yeah, I like going to O'Hara's Sports on Friday nights. I drove by last friday and there weren't any cars up there. I was disappointed. Hopefully they'll be up there this Friday though. If I do drive up there I most likely won't be in the Monte Carlo though...
