Default I joined the dead battery club!

Made it just over 42,000 miles on the original battery!!!

These things are heavy and hard to get out to say the least....

No one in town has a battery for me either.....lost half a day of work to it and now I have to wait until tomorrow....sucks when they put 10lbs of crap in a 5 lb bucket.

Anyone want a write up on how to get the battery out???

When my battery went out at 38ki went with an optima redtop which is what I recommend, ithe only place that had a battery was the autozone in midland. And it wasn't the #35 it was a 75 35 or visa versa, which has the side and top post which still works and it was cheaper than just a top post

That's where I went today...they sold me a Red Top but the posts were standard.

Our cars require the reversed post batteries....which no one had...I wanted an Optima but they can't get me one until late in the day tomorrow...the closest location that had one was Delaware.

So due to the time crunch I am under (need this asap) I had to go with a stock replacement.
