We (GXP users) really need a full (third brake light and reverse light on the trunk) LED kit.

I meant the reverse light we have on the trunk versus the Impala's (located in their light housing). But I guess steveman0018 swapped his bulb out for an LED.

And yeah, I checked my car and yes our third brake light is comprised of LEDs.

I know, that why I put 'Oops seen put on trunk' If somebody knows what they're doing it would look good, but just LED bulbs aren't that good, they look brighter, but actual light output is terrible. At least mine were, so I swapped back to halogen.

But how much light output would one need for reverse lights?

As far as I'm aware, reverse lights are just indicatory. So if it looks bright, that's all that should matter.

When we had the G6 it was like having mini headlights back there, living out in the country, where there's no lights, bright reverse lights help. But if you are in the city they are pretty much just for looks.

I have 2 of those bulbs just like that in my center console , if I think about it I'll take some comparo shots tonight.

First pic is just 4 coats of NS, it's pretty easy just put on light coats. I had a little practice before hand. It would be best to hit it with some gloss clear, too.
