Default 3 somewhat related w-body questions

Some questions Ive been pondering lately

1. Got a 3inch Cutom built DP but the shop I brought it to says its to big for my 07 GXP and id loose power all across the range?

2.Got the milled TB from ZZP on its way to me. Will my Air raid TBS cause issues?

3. I run Type-X subs and whenever i turn up the volume i kill all the lights in my HVAC panel. First time they got replaced under warranty. Now off warranty and they burnt out again... thinking about installing some red leds instead. Anyone done this? figure its gotta be easy mod

your air raid tbs should still work with the zzp tb because its the stock tb on the outside just the inside has been milled.
As for th DP, i don't think that shop knows anything about v8 wbodys. I have a catless DP and i may have lost a little low end, but the mid and top end gain is well worth it. I actually think the power i lost down low helped because i can now hook up just a little bit sooner.

I think that's exactly what our cars need: a camshaft that'll shift that low end torque to the right. That way, we don't go spinning into oblivion whenever one wants to floor it.

After headers I have a big TQ spike right at lockup. My 60' times are VERY hard to keep down now.

Make sure you have a inline capacitor for your subs, that will stop the power surges when you turn it up and stop blowing bulbs.

My catless DP helped all the way through.

I have two fuse block in my trunk and a inline capacitor right after my battery upfront. Yet it still happens every time. Im gonna remove my hvac lights and run the leds from a ignition source.

K i will head back to the Shop and tell them to install it either way.

Good to hear that my TBS wont effect the milled tb

Thanks for all your help guys!
