I know what has been done.
Ive been reading on it for a couple days now.

My question was which one is the BEST.
Had i been able to find a suitable answer i would not have started a new thread.

About how much would it cost to do this intake swap? I have a friend that is selling an ls6 intake with fuel rails for $200. So Im wondering how much more will the rest cost me. Thanks

just pony up the extra dough and go with a FAST...... Sure you will have to hack some of it up, but you will be more satisfied with it..... You can find a used FAST 90 mm on here for 5-600 dollars and you get the benefits of it. If you want to go the best cheap route, go with a ls6 intake. You can find one used for about 2-300 bucks in the classified sections in this forum. Also, you have to consider the cost of new injectors and the possibility of a new fuel rail.

Ls1 intake is the best option for the buck. The intakes cost about 40-65 shipped. Ls6 intakes shine in the 4500-6000 rpm. You'll gain about 5-10 hp over a ls1 at peak if your lucky.

I would say a lot. I love my LS1 intake... the torque is unreal and I can shread the tires below 45mph with ease.
The car is a real neck snaper now!

So is it a direct bolt on or a lot of fabrication need? If so what.
