patriot stage 3 heads
What u guys think about patriot sage 3 heads on a stock ci. 5.3? Mods are 227/234 tr cam, LT, 3" flowmaster 44's exh, CAI, Ls6 INT, and a EFI tune. Hit Squad Racing

I would stick with 2.00"/1.55" The 3.78" bore is very small and bigger valves cause shrouding problems.
You might wanna consider CNC ported 243's

I'm a big fan of smaller intake runner port volumes. Anything past 230cc is a little big for a 5.3 mild cam buld that will spin to 7000 RPM. The heads you have listed our 237cc.
Without knowing the spec's of the cam I'm going to say it's way to big for a street driven 5.3 that has to push 3800 lb car around with 2.93 gears.
