Default Plastidipped Grille

I dont know how you guys use this stuff to paint rims; this stuff can get messy! But it wasnt hard at all for you guys who dont do things yourself because I usually dont either besides simple things (oil changes, fog lights etc). Pulled out the chrome with my hands. Sprayed 2 coats and BAM! Plastidipped my rear bumper also. Was starting to fade a lil. USE IT!

After

Did the exact same thing, except i plasti dipped my bowtie, and then peeled it off of the silver trim around it..It definitely looks alot better than the chrome.

No way, I just did this exact thing to my grille. I was going to get some pics in the next couple of days of mine and post them up. Funny!

what did you spray on your rear bumper?

Yea chrome sucks! Chrome can make a car look cheesy sometimes. I think if your car is black or white this is a must. Glad MC's dont have that extra chrome on the bottom like the Imps do.

Plastidip. Not that actually bumper but the piece under the bumper, where the exaust cutouts are. I dont know whats the correct terminology for that part.

Nice. What's the texture of this stuff? I'm gonna spray it on my truck before winter comes and see how well it lasts in all the salt and snow.

Home Depot/Lowes. NO its not tougher than paint/clear. Its basically a rubberizing spray that can be easily removed, but is durable enough for a DD.

Awesome work. How do you do this without getting any on the hood or the bumber or the other mesh grille? Also cleansupersport, where did you get that badge, i love it!

also, does it look like crap after a year?

It was easy, just used a flat head screw driver to pry the chrome trim off and just plasti dip them.Emblem came from emblempros it was about $70,made really well...
