Overkill tune good??
What are peoples thoughts on the overkill tune? My car is stock except for flowmaster mufflers. How hard are the shifts? How does it make the tranny better?

Im also searching for some more info on overkill. Seems like he does alot of work on ls4 and our 4t65e. But it seems its toss up on if he will reply to customers. Im kinda leaning toward Trifecta i see they have great service and can resend you tunes based on your data logs. I think overkill a little bit cheaper though. Hopefully the guys here will add in there reviews.

Wills tune is pretty good..
TCM changes were the most distinct, made the car much more lively and fun to drive.
ECM changes were on the safer side in IMO, but it's a mail-tune and it's just better to play the middle of the road off the shelf. If you live at altitude I would recommend some specific changes.
Guy needs a secretary or an assistant to respond to e-mails and he would make a lot more people happy. Sometimes I wondered if he was part of some kind of witness protection program lol. But yeah communication with him has been challenging, he will always get back to you it's just a matter of when. I probably have asked him more questions about specifics than anyone and I've always gotten solid answers to why things are the way they are. Great guy, good tune just would be nice if he responded quicker, or at least on a specific day of the week so you knew when to expect to hear back.

Love mine, and one of the reasons I think my transmission hasn't had any hiccups. Been great the last 7K miles I've had the tune, now have 62K on the odo.
