Rough shift into reverse.
When I shift into reverse from a stop I feel a big clink and I hear a noise. I also had a little lag in 1st gear and them the tires spun. O hope transmission isn't messed up. Any ideas? Thanks

Please describe in detail the lag you feel in first. Is the engine revving up before the car moves, only to catch and make the car leap forward?

The clink was not on a hill but that's kinda what of felt like. Lag in first was at about 10 mph and enging didn't rev up a whole lot. This lag is very quick and random

I can't speak to the clink, though usually that sound comes from the park pawl being torque locked.
The lag issue could be either torque converter clutch or the solenoid that commands the converter clutch to engage-disengage. You'll probably need a transmission person to definitively diagnose this. You could contact Dave @ www.tripleedgeperformance.com and find out what he thinks.
