Exhaust Question
Hello I was wanting to know if anyone has ever removed the resonator and replaced with a tube style muffler like a sweet thunder (yes I know it is bigger, just an example) and removed stock mufflers and put pipes in? If so how did it sound and did you lose or gain anything?

there are a few guys I seen on youtube that are just running a straight exhaust. No muffler, sounds decent and would be a tad bit louder than the setup you are thinking if I'm correct. I left my factory exhaust and went with a 3in electric cutout. That is a choice but I'm on my third one I think I have too much backpressure when it's closed, since when I give it gas you can hear it trying to open up on its own.

I would go to 3800 performance.com and order it there. The 3.8 SLP loudmouth catback exhaust mounted RIGHT up to my 07 Monte SS! Pretty good exhaust.
