Default stock downpipe

what size is it and the cat? are they 2.5? or are they a little smaller or bigger?

getting ready to put my 3 inch exhaust on and i have a couple 2.5 inch high flow cats that i have left over from my camaro. was thinking about cutting the stock downpipe infront of the cat and replacing it with one.

It's slightly bigger than 2.5. I bought 2 of a 2.5" test pipe 18" long at auto zone and made them work because their ends open up a bit. I deleted my cat, u bend and o2. And reused the stock rear flange, it was actually easy just took me some time..

No it's not stainless, it was rusty, actually I'm not really sure...

Honestly i think it's 2.75 o.d. Maybe a little less.
