Tranny finally went out on me. Car had 144,xxx on it when i started to get a surge/hesitation while cruising at 60 mph. (i had been dealing with the shutter from take off for abt a 1yr) I had already been preparing for the day when it would happen, so i had a shop already in mind. Took it to a shop in Doraville Ga(high tech transmission service). Took them a day to diagnose the issue. They first had to isolate weather it was a ignition issue or a tranny issue. After having there computer connected to it to monitor the shifts while on a test drive they came back and said that it was in fact slipping between 3rd and 4th gears. Long story short, the end result is a tranny that functions flawlessly at the tune of $2200 buckaroos. Its been a good run with this car but as soon as GM unveils the 2016 Camaro (6th gen) probably going to be pre-ordering one. But it was definitely fun while it lasted.

That's unfortunate to hear. At least it wasn't a surprise.

I'd hold out on any first model year of any vehicle.
