So!!! I bought my 06' Monte Carlo SS about 6 months ago. Since then I have installed an air intake, Shift kit, fabed up a custom exhaust, and a couple of tunes so far.

I have a bunch of plans for this beast. Goals are; custom fabed up intake manifold ( in the process)
ls7 Lifters
ls6 cam (eventually a T rex cam)
Iroc Rims
70 MM turbo
Ram Air Hood

sounds like a recipe for a broke transmission. May want to get a built trans first.

I'd loom into a ls2 cam, it outperforms the ls6 cam on the 5.3, but if you're dead set on a turbo there's always the ls9 cam
