We talked about that for a while, but there is no way of doing it to come out of both sides without running a bunch of unnecessary tubing, but maybe I would be happy with it just coming out the drivers side I dunno....

On my turbo caprice, I did something similar. I dumped the exhaust out the optional front fender-mounted marker lamp. Made for one really loud blinker

very nice.

***Update***

4t80e physically bolts to the LS4 with extremely limited modifications. Who would have though the internet could be wrong?!

id be concerned about the torque converter alignment with this setup, remains to be seen if this will work out.

Are you serious?
You realize that the bellhousing is located to the motor via dowel pins correct? Being that it utilizes the exact same pattern minus ONE bolt hole, with dowels in the SAME location....how on earth would converter alignment change? Crank center is crank center. if the pilot engages the snout staticly without any force, I can almost guarantee there will be next to no runout. And not for nothing...but this conversion has already been done in the 3800 world multiple times which again utilizes the same bell pattern and centerline.

You literally just highlighted exactly what im waiting to find out, if the pilot engaged the snout with any force. I don't see any pictures of you checking alignment with the crank and a torque converter, and last I checked a northstar engine was not a LS engine. I'm glad you are able to get it bolted to it with little to no modification though. Hopefully it works out.

The northstar still uses the same bolt pattern and spacing just like the 3800. Nothing special. The good thing if this works out fully is all you need is the sonnax kit for the valve body issue and you should be able to use the the t42 trans controller as equipped in your ride already depending on the year of the trans it should be able to work with no custom ****.

Yep the 4t80 can defiantly hold 600wheel reliably. Its been done. And with lighter weight this thing should fly

There was about a 3/4" long area of the oil pan rail I had to remove 1/8" of material from. Other than that, stock pan fits beautifully.

I have yet to try the front water pump manifold, but I suspect there will be no issues seeing how I did not move the engine from it's OE location.
