Slp 1.8 roller rockers
Sorry newbie here and just learning how to do engine internals with my gxp. I'm looking to install some slp 1.8 rocker rollers, ls6 springs, and new rods. Bought these parts from a guy and have literally what I listed. Will I require anything else?

Well, bit curious as to why you would buy rods, whats your experience with engine building? Generally speaking if your planning on tearing down your engine to do rods, you skip the 1.8 roller rockers and just use a cam instead, but they can be incorporated into the build should you want to use them.

But it's very easy to change out rockers. To do the springs you'll need a valve spring compressor and other than that you'll need a torque wrench to torque down the new rockers to 22 ft/lbs and then just a standard socket set for removing the valve covers will do.

Yeah sorry pushrods. And yeah 91parkave. I bought these from Robert. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need anything else before starting the project.
As for the cam, don't quite have the funds to do a custom cam just yet. But that will be done in the future when I can get one made and remove all the odd internals.

Hey man! Yeah we made room in the garage and I might have a go at doing it myself. Just wondering if I'd need any other parts/tools or if anybody had any tips before starting. Have my uncle that works at gm to double check my work as a backup but still wanna attack it with everything I'll need.
