Question what does a stock 96ta weigh

with power everything all options and leather with 16" wheels and 245 tires. im looking to tear one down and build a racecar. let me thanks

my car is a hardtop with cloth seats, with all other options and about 5-8 gallons in the tank it came out at 3450

so i would guess maybe 3550? it really depends there are a lot of variances

My car, basically stock weighed 36xx lbs with me in it and a 1/4 tank of gas.

This was with full leather interior, t-tops, spare tire, jack, heavy *** mufflex 4" catback, and I think it had a powerdyne SC at that time.

Mine stock and fully loaded with everything in it and 3/4 Tank of Gas weighed 3320.

Damn my car was a pig. 3780 with me before weight reduction. now she weighs 3440 with me and 3185 without me. I used the weight reduction list in the drag racing forum.

It doesn't really matter what you start with. The only things that really make a difference is the top set up. Convertibles weight more than T-tops that weigh more than solid roofed cars. The more options you have in the car the more stuff you can take out. You'll reach the same point in taking them apart no matter what car you start with.

At the track scale(wich in no way is accurate) Its super old and not digital. My car without me in it was 3425ish with 1/4 tank of gas. I figure its around 3600 with me in it

Mine's a '97 and bone stock, no weight taken out, leather, t-tops and 1/2 tank of gas it weighed 3620. Hope that helps.

it should be around 3600 lbs raceweight!!! that means car and you!

I need to see what my 95 weighs when i do the SBC swap, ditching aluminum heads for iron vortecs is going ot hurt a bit.

haha i got most of you beat. my t-top, leather seat, power locks, power windows, when bone stock weighed 3450. with me in it it weighed 3585.
