flow and scavenging (helping pull the exhuast out) are usually inversely related. Its best to find a equilibrium between them based on your setup. Thats why alot of those ricers out there are stupid b/c they throw on some giant exhaust and they don't have the displacement to support it, and negatively affects performance.

I've been curious about this as well because whenever I get my camaro I thought about just buying the Summit Universal X Pipe and welding the rest together since my brother is a welder and we have the 3" pipe from his old car laying around.
Would be a lot cheaper that way but I wasn't sure whether to do that or just get the TSP True duals.

oh i know i don't have the mods to back up having 3" duals. i probably never will. im sticking to what i have in my sig. number one b/c it flows enough for what i would ever do with the car. and two b/c im tired of spending money on exhaust. i was JW if that design scavenged well or not.

Their x pipe kit is pretty popular for the True Dual guys. Most buy their kit and then fab up the rest or have an exhaust shop finish up the job.
I have never heard anything negitive about it.
