Couple ?s for you guys
What are possible symptoms of a fuel pump bitting the dust?
What are possible symptoms of a fuel pressure regulator going out?
Just trying to narrow down a problem i am having with my car.
Here is a link that will take you to the symptoms i have described:

You can check the FPR by pulling the vacume line off of it and looking for wetness or if it smells like gas.
Hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the check valve on the fuel rail.

Depending how many miles you have on the pump Most all I have replaced in gm's have been around 130k and up on the mileage Do you have a Fuel pressure gauge? If you pinch your return line your pressure should double if it does then the pump is ok

when my fuel pump was goin out i could only tell when i tried to accelerate past like 65 mph cause the car would choke and stutter so i had it checked out and sure enough the fuel pump and filter was goin out. I think i was only pushing out 35% instead of 100% man that was an expensive repair.
