need help choosing a throttle body
Im not sure which throttle body to by because the shop that is going to rebuild my lt1 said he has had problems with aftermarket throttle bodies sticking. he said he had problems with the bbk. can i get some help with choosing a good name brand that wont stick.

i hav a holley i bought it off someone on ebay and it used to stick real bad we wrapped the spring tighter and it still stuck we sanded the butterflys down and it still stuck i just sprayed it wit that pb stuff and its fine

Not sure about the lt1. If it has a wet t body stock just be sure the replacement is wet also. Sticking is generaly caused by freezing around throttle blade. Systems run coolant through it to keep it warm until operating temp.

My BBK never stuck, but I bought it second hand and the original owner could've taken care of it if it did when it was new.
I would say, if you're only doing a heads/cam motor, you should just get the stock one that's been ported to 52/54mm (stock intake can support 54mm w/o porting).
If you're just having bolt ons, you don't need one. Hell, mine isn't even installed, even though it's in my sig!
