How To Flip The Miles Back On My Cluster
im looking to flip the miles back on my cluster because im going to redo the entire motor and id rather just flip the miles back to start fresh. is there a way of doing this?

what does it matter....besides there will still be xxxxxx miles on the supension and body....if u want ur odometer to read new....buy a new car
the only numbers u need to worry about are ur track times and dyno numbers...and speed numbers...not ur odometer numbers....
on a side note the only reason im swappin my cluster is so i know how fast above 115 im goin

you can actually have this done by places that specialize in that. But they have to have paperwork filled out and everything to keep them from being subject to any trouble. Try googling Specmo. I work for a dealership and for warranty cluster replacements they allow us to have the work like that subleted out to that place.

Tell them you want your cats removed and some pot harvested from your trunk while you are at it.
You can reset your trip meter, that's fine, but replacing the ODO or spinning it
with a powertool until it gets back to 0 is illegal. IIRC, there is a nice little
sticker that is installed on the cluster when an odometer is replaced by a
repair facility. (IE: when the stock one is defective)

buy a new ECU? But you'll have to have a dealer program it and put your vin number in.
Other than that there's no way legally to do it yourself.
Companies can do it though, it's all reported though(CARFAX).
