code 36 while cruising on highway

code 36 while cruising on highway hey guys I got a problem and I need your experiences/advice. Driving around town car runs perfect. however I took a long trip for the first time in a looong while ( i drive it to work and back about 4 miles round trip) and cruising in 6th gear at 70 mph the car would just shut off it would immeadiately restart when i pushed in the clutch and let go (aka poppin' the clutch). Now i just replaced the entire distributor about 15,000 miles ago. what do you all think? is my opti FUBAR already? I've got the diagnostic procedure for code 36 and a possible cause could be the pcm?
