Default ram air lid

I'm just curious if anyone has fabricated one of these out of an ls1 lid, as I would rather not pay 300 plus dollars for one. thanks

TylerT did awhile back Im pretty sure. I saw one on his Trans Am, it was a clear LS1 Lid on a ram-air WS6 style hood if I can recall.

Only reason I remember is cause they were blowing cigarette smoke into the clear lid to see if the car liked it.

in the radiator support. You will have to cut up one to make a LS style lid fit on a normal LT car. I am going to do it over the winter. Ive already pounded out my wheel wells, put a trap door to access the fuel pump. dont care about taking a knife to my car.

If you search Ls1 lid conversion on camaroz28.com you will find plently.

Yea...I understand that much, but I am working with a suncoast ram air hood that I'm trying to rig up to be functional.
