ok, i am having an issue with my 94 LT1 6spd Formula. it started acting as though the opti was going bad--missing, backfiring, wouldn't rev past 3k, etc. so i took the opportunity to put the msd opti on. ran fine for a day or two then started doing it all again. it wil start, idle fine, but after going into closed loop, will cut out, stumble, tach goes nuts and dies if given much throttle at all. after this it has to sit long enough for computer to reset before it will start again. if not it just cranks and wont fire. i used a scanner and keep getting the same code (don't know the number off top my head) stating that it was "losing ignition due to loss of low resolution ignition pulse signal". i also noticed some strange/off readings(voltage/ohms) of other sensors and have changed them..listed below...with no change.

coil
ign control module
msd opti
o2 sensors

have also unplugged my msd 6al and fuel pump voltage booster. no change either.


i don't want to change the opti again if i don't have to..especially since its new msd. need some ideas.
