Default Need some help picking out a cam!!!

Any good sites, I looked on summitracing.com and cant find nothing under a 500 lift cam. Im looking for around 447 lift or 430 lift due to the fact that I have 1.6' roller rockers. So any ideas?

I would take a look at the cam thread at the top of the LT1 section that is a real good start for looking. I myself am going with an Advanced Induction set-up i have heard nothing but good things so i can't wait to get the cam on monday, check them out at www.advancedinductions.com there are alot of choices so i would check out the cam thread and AI's website.

if it's for the 3rd gen i would get the comp cams 12-404-4 its 444 lift so add the 1.6s and you should have roughly 476

You probably cant find one since that's about the lift your stock cam has with 1.6 rockers. For the sake of arguement I wouldnt waste my time swapping a cam out unless it was worth it. Matter of fact off the top of my head .447/.430 is smaller than your stock cam.

218/230-114 Comp Cams "Extreme" LT1 Camshaft, 218 / 230, .495 / .510 114 LSA, Agressive camshaft for street/strip blower applications. Computer tuning required.

This is the cam I run on my stock bottom end LT1 with 1.6 rockers. Used to be called the Randy cam for those who have been around for a long time. Just change the springs out and good to go.
