Default After market Blocks

You ever wonder why there were no after market blocks for the LT1s. You see all new heads out people working with intakes and such and no blocks. Not that i can afford one.Or did all the company's know that the LT1 from the go was going to be short lived.

i know what you mean. i was looking for a new block to start my next build and i cant find any! GM can make a block that can handle 2500 HP (LSX) but they cant produce a decent block for us to use?

Seeing as the factory block with splayed mains will support 1500+ hp, its pretty good.

Also, few will explore those numbers with an LTx platform.

There's not enough market for it for them to produce one. Sure they could do it, if it was worth their while.
