I just bought a 94 trans am that im not sure if its gonna get parted out or not but my 93 formula only has the lower speedo and i was wanting to put the higher 15o speedo in. can i just swap them or is there alot more too it.

anyone ever swapped one? i know i have a speed limiter that can be taken off with a tune but is that all to do it?

I would assume that you would need to recalibrate the computer to know that it is using a 150mph speedo otherwise the MPH will be off.

I do know for sure that they can be swapped out. I don't know for sure what all is required but probably not much beyond slight computer adjustment. If for nothing else you would need to do that if you want the governor taken off.
