MAF Sensor Problem help im kinda new at this
well heres the problem
i ran a scan on the cars computer and it cam back as maf senor falut or somethin like that so i went and go a maf sensor and changed mind u that the one in it is new also so anyhow i got a new one and is still came back the same
so what i need to know is
how a maf sensor works does it use power from a 12v source and ground i think i read something about a 5volt soure how do i get that or what and if it does any one can give me the wire colors that is power and ground its a lt1 94 camero motor thank guy apperate it

On my caprice it kept throwing a MAF code, then a multiple misfire code, turned out just needed some fuel system cleaner. I had at that point allready replacing the MAF.

A fouled plug caused my MAF fault (P0100) to occur, it can also be caused by a vacuum leak. If you have a DVM with frequency on it you can tap into the MAF and get the frequency reading and see how it compares to accepted value (which can be found through a search).
