if i get a set of longtube headers do i have to re tune my ecm?

No, but you will get the most power from them once the car is tuned.

And..

The car will most likely run a tad rich until that time comes.

You would be fine not getting it tuned. i have been running around for a few weeks with my car not tuned. i am getting it tuned this weekend though. im getting a full street tune. so hopefully my car runs even better. But you would be fine with not gettin it tuned, if you are putting race style like i did, then you would just have check engine light.

you'd be fine without a tune....I ran around with my bolt on car for about a year on a stock/hypertech tune on it and it was fine...as stated before, it will more times than not run a lil rich, mine did, but it wasn't anything drastic

cool thanks, now i can wait a bit on the tune i know i inevitably need to do a re flash anyway because my ecu is still on an automatic program and im running a t56.
