Intake manifold porting for tb
Okay I got a 58mm holly TB and we all know the stock is not that big. I have the intake off as I just got it powder coated red. Now, what is the easiest or most efficient way to open the tb holes on up? I have them marked so I know how much metal to take off. What about the extra metal at the bottom, If I go too deep there am I getting into something else? Is there any pics around that I have not found?
Thanks guys

Just cut out the outline of the new 58mm gasket. You can use a Dremel, die grinder, sanding drum, etc., to open them up. Just make ABSOLUTELY sure you remove any and all metal shavings from the intake. There are dozens of places for shavings to hide, so be very careful and thorough.

Perfectly worded.

I have thought about taking it to someone to be cleaned afterwords as it has been media blasted before it was powdercoated and media just falls out as you move it around. What do I tell them I want done, I guess what I am aswking is if I take it to a machine shop what is the process of cleaning it well?
