Default 10 bolt rear end

Hey all I'm running the stock 10 bolt and curious to know if the following would do me any good. As of right now I have the T/A cover and 3.73. I understand I have "limited slip"... would putting in a Eaton posi differential and a Detroit Locker do me any good? Or is it a waste of money?

Keep your rear end as it is. Save up for a 9" or 12 bolt.

A4 or M6?

I wouldn't put money into swapping the differential if you already have a LSD.
With a cam+Bolt-ons car, the stock rear should do just fine in an A4 ... less so in an M6.

Posi and Limited slip are the same thing.

Posi is short for POSItraction limited slip.

I would keep the stock geared posi over the clutch Eaton, I have found the Eaton clutches to be short lived and the replacement cost to be barely cheaper than new.

A detroit locker would work great at the strip, but would make the car down right dangerous on the street in the rain. They have a tendancy to lock the axle shafts t/g at bad times (ie going around a turn hard on the gas) sending your rear end right out from under you. The lockers also shock load the axles and I wouldn't want any more stress on the 10 bolt than it already has to take.

The only time I would swap posi units out is if the clutches in the stocker are fried and you are doing the peg leg peel.
