Occasional low idle, suspect IAC
I just did a search for IAC issues, and suspect my low (and very very rarely, a slightly high) idle issues may be due to the IAC valve. My question is......when the IAC valve is in need of replacement, is the idle problem intermittent, or is it normally more of a constant problem?
My car runs fine, and idles fine most of the time. Sometimes it idles very low, to the point it has quit a couple times. It started out as a very rare occurrence, but it's happening quite a bit more frequently now. The car has never thrown a code.
